About Ms. Ileane Speaks

I don’t put limits on the scope of this blog by saying I’m going to discuss Marketing, Graphic Design, Music, Networking, Finances, Sports, Politics, Social Injustice or Romance. This blog will address all of those things and more. I’m the type of person that tries to learn something about everything even if I’m not interested in it. I’m a work in progress, although some might call me a piece of work. I write what I feel. Well you see that’s the beautiful thing about having my own blog. It can be whatever I want it to be and I can change it up whenever I want.

My philosophy of life is that we should all try to keep an open mind and allow the creative juices to flow.

Ms. Ileane Speaks invites you take a peak into my world and the way I look at things. At times I’ll provide useful information and I hope you return the favor. Other times I’ll make you laugh and once in a while you might just shed a tear. But I don’t just speak, I listen too. So holla back with your comments!

  6. Hi just read your 5 secrets of WordPress. Good stuff… I’m new to all this and one thing I find abit tiresome is the long wait when uploading multiple photos from the computer. Am I doing some thing wrong? Or is there a secret to speeding the process up?

    • Hey Pommepal,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. There is a lot to learn when you are first starting out. That’s why I try to write about things as I find out about them, especially if they are not mentioned on the Support pages. As for your question, I’ve never tried to upload multiple images and but I am sure that if you contact WordPress Support they can help you out. If you have WordPress.com blog you can go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/ and ask your question. I’ve posted questions there before and they are very responsive. Best of luck to you!

  7. Thanks will go for “support”

  8. Put question on “forum” page and received a very quick reply. I should’ve been reducing the size of photos before inserting them. What a “dummy” I am…. For some reason I assumed (and we all know what that can lead to) that the clever programme, that is WordPress, would down size the photos as they processed them. Thank you for suggestion, another part of the learning curve flattened out.

    • Yay! I’m happy for you. I also looked at your blog and left a comment. You are doing a great job and looks like you are having lots of fun.
I have another tip to share with you.
If you would like to keep track of the questions you have submitted to Support you can use a link that looks like this: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/ileaneb
Just substitute any user name at the end to see all of their support activity. I was going to save that tip for my next post but I couldn’t wait. Happy blogging!

  9. Good one, thanks for the advance tip will check it out….

  10. G’day again, this may be a “dumb” question but, is there a place in WordPress to store the above link, or any other that I may want to keep handy?

    • Not a dumb question at all. But I’m not sure of the answer. I just keep the link as a favorite in my browser. I think it’s another good question you should ask Support. Let me know what you find out. Thanks.

  11. I clicked on links and then add a link. Filled in relavent details and added to blog roll. Seems to do the job OK.
